A bespoke economic intelligence tool for Brent Council

17 Feb 2023

After a year of significant investment in our team and new product development, we are delighted to say our IDM Business platform to enable better decision-making in the regeneration sector, continues to gain traction.

We are pleased to now be working with Brent Council, where we have created a bespoke data solution for its economic development team.

Mark Allen from Brent Council's Economic Development team said: "In order to provide the best packages of support to our residents and businesses, we need to make informed decisions based on the latest data about businesses in our borough.

"We are delighted to be working with Impact Data Metrics who have delivered a bespoke business intelligence dashboard, mapping out the most accurate data available. The IDM Business platform provides us with an up-to-date, comprehensive and consistent picture of business activity in Brent.

“This intelligence, including information on new start-ups, business expansion and more, will help us to respond accordingly with the necessary support or targeted intervention. The team at IDM have listened to our needs and built a solution that gives us a truly granular insight into business activity that will help support both our businesses and communities moving forward."

Geoff Wainwright, Chief Operating Officer at Impact Data Metrics said: “The beauty of our IDM Business platform is its flexibility – a quality which we also pride ourselves on as an organisation – which means we can work in partnership with our clients and establish what data they need and how they need to interpret it.

“It’s been a pleasure to take a detailed project brief from Brent Council and tailor a unique solution for them which I am confident will enable them to make better-informed policy decisions to facilitate business growth.”

Paul Gussar, Business Development Director added: "Our relationship with Brent Council is just one of a number of new client relationships we’ve developed over the last 12 months and we look forward to working with them and other ambitious and progressive organisations this year.”
