Impact Data Metrics Limited (“IDM”) will not share, sell or rent individual personal information without explicit permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you publications or emails based on you requests for information.

Privacy and Personal Data

IDM will respect your personal information and undertake to comply with all applicable UK Data Protection legislation currently in force. In relation to any personal information provided by you, you agree that IDM may use such information in accordance with the purposes for which you permission has been obtained when providing such information. At times we (or IDM partners) may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site. We also may track browser types to help us understand our visitors’ needs related to our web site design.

There is an optional section of our web site where an input form requires your email address. This form may provide the ability to subscribe (opt-in) to receiving future emails from IDM. If you opt-in to receiving email communications from us, then we may send information to you on our latest news and services.

Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files that are stored in your web browser that allow Impact Data Metrics or a third party to recognize you. Cookies can be used to collect, store and share bits of information about your activities across websites. At IDM we only use cookies to monitor the performance of our website and to improve user experience. Cookies might be used for the following purposes:

  • To enable certain functions

  • To provide analytics

  • To store your preferences

IDM uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie is used to identify a particular visit to our website. These cookies expire after a short time, or when you close your web browser after using our website. We may use these cookies to identify you during a single browsing session, such as when you login to our website. A persistent cookie will remain on your devices for a set period of time specified in the cookie. We may use these cookies where we need to identify you over a longer period of time. For example, we would use a persistent cookie if you asked that we keep you signed in.

Third party companies like analytics companies (such as Google Analytics) generally use cookies to collect user information on an anonymous basis. They may use that information to build a profile of your activities on the Impact Data Metrics website and other websites that you've visited.

When there is a change to our privacy policy that may impact individual rights or the way we handle individuals’ information, IDM will notify those people who have provided opt-in (permission) to receive email or other communication from us, or who have consented to the collection of information. Any new policy will be posted on our site at least one week prior to taking effect. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
